On Monday, November 6th, 2023, Volunteers of Springfield Park, and Fine Fare Supermarket, located at 145-44 Farmer’s Blvd, Springfield Gardens, NY 11434, did the unthinkable for the residents of Springfield Gardens. The Board of Directors for Volunteers for Springfield Park presented ten local families with a $100 voucher to kick off their Thanksgiving shopping at Fine Fare Supermarket.  In attendance were the VFSP Board, SpringGar Civic Association, and other residents and merchants. 

This program was made possible by a community grant from City Councilwoman Selvena Brooks-Powers of District 31.

The purpose of the program is to provide some financial relief to upstanding Springfield Gardens residents and their families for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
