CPR Training Class 2026

Every second counts when saving a life – Be CPR smart

On Thursday, March 16th, 2026, Volunteers from Springfield Park, Inc., along with the FDNY CPR unit, provided residents of Springfield Gardens and neighboring communities with an opportunity to sign up for FDNY Smart CPR training. The class included videos and hands-on training for basic CPR. Four simple instructions can help you begin saving a life until paramedics arrive.

This class is one of many that will be offered, and we look forward to providing additional classes through the FDNY. Although no certificate was issued by the FDNY since it was not a certification course, each attendee received a “Certificate of Completion” from Volunteers for Springfield Park.
