Park Beautification

For several years, the Volunteers for Springfield Park Team, along with many of its community members, have planted beautiful flowering plants around the park and at the Farmers Blvd and Guy R. Brewer Blvd square at the start of spring. However, the plants have struggled to survive because of a lack of nearby water sources. Amazon’s local Environmental and Community Sustainability Team stepped in to help provide the essential water these plants need to thrive.

On April 23, 2026, our local Amazon Team donated three watering carts to Volunteers for Springfield Park Inc. The donation was accepted by Curlene Nelson, Gregory Hudson, and Darlene Hudson. The team expressed gratitude and excitement by thanking the Amazon Team for this vital and generous contribution.
