Volunteers for Springfield Park (VFSP) is proud to lead the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Relief in close collaboration with Fine Fare Supermarkets. As the initiative’s primary organizer, VFSP is coordinating logistics and community outreach to help local families enjoy a traditional holiday meal. Fine Fare Supermarkets is a key partner, donating a fresh holiday turkey to every recipient and offering an exclusive 10% discount on all holiday purchases. This annual initiative will support a selected group of 40 residents. VFSP will provide each participant with shopping vouchers to purchase items of their choice directly at the store on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Thanks to VFSP’s community leadership and Fine Fare’s generous corporate partnership, VFSP has already secured the essentials for these 40 residents.
While the project is ready to provide holiday essentials, VFSP welcomes community support to help families make the most of their shopping vouchers. A community goal of $5,000 will expand what the vouchers can cover, helping these 40 neighbors stretch their dollars even further with Fine Fare’s 10% discount and add extra fresh produce, classic pantry sides, and festive desserts to their baskets. Financial support is entirely optional and is welcome from anyone in a position to share their blessings.
Please submit optional contributions securely online or by check by Monday, November 16, 2026, so the VFSP team can calculate and distribute vouchers in time for participants’ shopping day.
